Fine Food and Art

Whatís Cooking in New Orleans: Culinary Traditions of the Crescent City
New Orleans is defined by its fascination with food. This new exhibition documents a three-century culinary love affair and surveys the types of food associated with New Orleans, examines the emergence of the nationís first regional cuisine and visits the cityís market, kitchens and world renowned restaurants. On display thru July 7, 2007.

In conjunction with the exhibition, The Historic New Orleans Collection is launching a weekly series of free lectures beginning Wednesday, March 28. Each lecture begins at 6:30 p.m. Speakers will cover a range of topics sure to whet many appetites.
