Bring a large pot of water to boil. Combine the marinade ingredients. Place the chicken in a glass bowl and pour the marinade over it, allowing it to marinate while you prepare the rest of the dish.
Combine the baste ingredients and set aside. Combine all of the ingredients for the tomato mixture and gently toss.
Prepare the grill. Add the pasta to the pot of boiling water and cook according to the package directions. Grill the chicken breasts, basting frequently until done. Slice the chicken breasts. Drain the pasta.
Toss the pasta with the grilled chicken and tomato mixture.
Season to taste with salt and pepper, adding a touch of olive oil or lemon juice if necessary. Serve immediately.
