Creamy Fontina Fontal
Almost margarine-like in color, Fontina Fontal is a cow’s milk cheese that is moist with?tiny holes. Taste is mild, creamy, and rich. In a word, yum. It topped a homemade pizza with sauteed wild mushrooms and was heavenly. Would make a nice dessert cheese, too. Originally made in Italy and called Fontina Val d’Aosta, it is now also made in such countries as Denmark, France and the United States, too.
